Madden Returns to Mound for Series Opener in Tampa
Madden will make his return to action after missing just over two weeks while recovering from a right forearm contusion, and Monday's start will be his first of the 2026 campaign. While it will be his first start of the season in his fourth appearance, he's capable of carrying a starter's load, with one five-inning relief appearance and another covering six innings this season. The Tampa Bay Rays (36-20) host the Detroit Tigers (22-38) at 6:40 p.m. ET on Monday, June 1.
